The entire story that solar radiation causes skin cancer is built on shaky grounds. To date, no study has been conducted examining the direct impact of sunlight on human skin under natural conditions. All previous research concerning the influence of UV radiation on the development of skin tumors has been carried out under artificial blue light, on nocturnal animals, and with isolated UV radiation separated from the rest of the spectrum.
The most valuable research we have available regarding sunbathing comes from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when the so-called heliotherapy was flourishing. The pioneers of this method, Niels Ryberg Finsen and Auguste Rollier, were able to completely cure patients with advanced tuberculosis after six months of regular sunbathing at higher altitudes (with a higher dose of UV radiation). They also recorded other seemingly miraculous recoveries from various diseases.
Most doctors won't tell you this because they don't know it themselves. However, there is much more evidence of the beneficial effects of the sun – circadian rhythms, the healing power of red and near-infrared light, or the existence of biophotons.
Do not repeat the conventional opinion that sunlight causes skin cancer. Otherwise, you will encounter people like me who will quickly prove you wrong due to ignorance. How can you believe that the sun causes cancer when it fundamentally regenerates vision and all other aspects of our body?
Non-visual photoreceptors are regenerated thanks to red and near-infrared light. Mitochondria use this radiation together with free electrons to power quantum nanomotors in complex V of the electron transport chain.
UV light is absorbed by so-called phototraps known as benzene rings, which form the structure of all aromatic amino acids in the body responsible, among other things, for the production of neurotransmitters. Serotonin, tryptophan, dopamine, adrenaline, and others depend on sunlight.
Purple light itself stops the progression of myopia by activating the EGR1 gene. Blue light wavelengths from the sun reduce fat cells and increase their efficiency in burning body fat.
UV-A and UV-B stimulate POMC to activate the strongest peptide hormones, melanin, nitric oxide, and others.
From birth, we are fed a huge lie about the harmfulness of the sun. It takes many people 20, 30, 40 or more years before they come across this information. Most leave the world without ever learning it.
In conclusion, it is necessary to emphasize that the conventional view of the harmfulness of sunlight is based on unsubstantiated claims and incomplete information. Previous research has been conducted under artificial conditions and does not take into account the complex nature of sunlight. On the contrary, historical evidence and the latest scientific findings show many beneficial effects of the sun on human health.
Sunlight plays a key role in regulating circadian rhythms, tissue regeneration, the production of important hormones and neurotransmitters, gene activation, and many other biological processes. Ignoring this fact and spreading fear of the sun can actually have a negative impact on our health.
It is time to reconsider our approach to sun exposure and educate ourselves about the real benefits and risks of sunlight. We should learn to use the power of the sun wisely and safely to support our health, rather than rejecting it based on incomplete and misleading information.
Critical thinking and awareness are key in this area. Let us not be controlled by fear and misinformation that serve the interests of certain groups profiting from our ignorance. It is time to return to the roots and restore our natural relationship with the sun, which is the source of life and health on our planet.
It is necessary to think critically. Many entities profit from our ignorance and fear in this area.
